The Belly Dance Workout!  SharQui is a bare foot class that takes a traditional low impact aerobics class and infuses the art of traditional Belly Dance.  It's done with a great playlist that will get your body moving and put a little beauty in your regular cardio class. 

Created by world renown Belly Dancer Oreet Schwatrz, SharQui has been shimmying since 1998.  Oreet says it best, "In a SharQui class, you’ll learn new moves and combinations in flow. You’ll gradually build up to more complex movements starting with the very basics – your feet! If you can walk in place, you can bellydance with SharQui." 

And of course, in my classes- beginners are ALWAYS welcomed and encouraged.


I teach SharQui in my virtual Studio which is a monthly subscription.  The cost is $25.00 per month and it is paired with my Yoga Classes.  So you get both disciplines in the subscription.

Essentrics strengthens and stretches every muscle in the body eccentrically, rebalancing the muscular structure in continuous rotational movements. 


This full-body technique works through the muscle chains, liberating and empowering the muscles, relieving them from tension in the process. While the technique is original in itself, it has been influenced by several disciplines. Essentrics draws on the flowing movements of Tai-chi creating health and balance, the strengthening theories behind ballet which create long, lean, flexible muscles and the healing principles of physiotherapy resulting in a pain free body.


It moves with music, but dance talent or a sense of rhythm is not necessary. Two left feet are more than welcome!  The class ranges from amateurs to athletes, All ages and abilities welcomed.


Starting in June classes move to Tuesdays and Fridays

The yoga classes I lead are body-focused.  I'll address the anatomy of your body and show you how to safely use traditional yoga postures in ways which will energize your body and help to strengthen your muscles.  

Everyone seems to have a lot of fun in our classes and the setting is non-competitive, safe and relaxed.  All ages and abilities are welcomed. Come as you are, leave better and happier
